Resource Center Plans
While we wait for funds for the Agape House building to be provided, our team plans to continue to meet the needs of the fostering community. The Agape House Resource Center is our "in-between" dream! We hope to create a resource center that provides three main services:

Closet

We will provide clothes, shoes, school supplies, and other needs for children who are in care or are at risk of separation. This provision can take a load off of families who need to focus their time and money on other things. This space could also be a thrift store for the community, a means for our organization to raise funds.

Classroom

Families who are at risk of being separated are sometimes on a legal plan of service. These plans may require parents to complete parenting classes. Our space will accommodate this need with a classroom space for third-party organizations to come in and teach such classes!

Parent Visits

Often, parents whose children are in foster care have visits with their children. Sometimes, the space where children can visit parents is not the most homey. Our hope is to provide a safe, comfortable space where parents can meet with their children for visits. With a kitchen and a dining area, meals may be prepared and shared. Comfortable, home-like atmostphere may support the bond between parents and children.
