Agape House Resource Center
While we wait for the Agape House building to be provided, our team plans to continue to meet the needs of the community in a different way: The Agape House Resource Center. This will be our "in-between" dream!
We hope to create a resource center in Bexar County that provides three main services:

Closet
​
We will provide clothes, shoes, school supplies, and other needs for children who are in care or are at risk of separation. This provision can take a load off of families who need to focus their time and money on other things. This space could also be a thrift store for the community, a means for our organization to raise funds.

Classroom
​
Families who are at risk of being separated are sometimes on a legal plan of service. These plans may require parents to complete parenting classes. Our space will accommodate this need with a classroom space for third-party organizations to come in and teach such classes!

Parent Visits
​
Often, parents whose children are in foster care have visits with their children. Our hope is to provide a safe, comfortable space where parents can meet with their children for visits. With a kitchen and a dining area, meals may be prepared and shared. The comfortable, home-like atmostphere will support the bond between parents and children.
